Thank you for your interest in the Fidelis Sunday School Class. The Fidelis Sunday School Class is a Bible Study with an emphasis of relevance to todays Christian living and beliefs. We stress the study of the Old Testament and the New Testament alternating every 12 weeks. By using this study method, it gives members a clearer look at the character of God the Father and when studying the New Testament, we examine the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Our Savior. Our class is largely adult but we welcome and encourage any age person to attend. We conduct Sunday School throughout the year. Members of Fidelis are warm and friendly, and anxious to bring others to class to share in Christian fellowship. We assemble downstairs in the Southeast corner of the dining room at 9:30 am each Sunday.
The Miler's class meets on the second floor each Sunday through the year. The class usually numbers from 10 to 20 depending on time of year and other events in the lives of class members. It is a diverse group with diverse backgrounds, ages, interests, and education. We deal in social and cultural issues with time for discussion. We utilize many resources including series from Adam Hamilton,Pastor of a Kansas City Methodist Church, plus other videos from PBS and news magazines such as "60 Minutes".Time is usually spent with a beginning video, then discussion from class members. All points of view are considered. If you miss a class or two,it is easy to catch up.Even if you can't be there every week,we urge you to join us when you can.The class name was taken from a former pastor at First Church Lloyd Miles.
